In 2022, during the two months of lockdown in Shanghai, I seized every opportunity during routine COVID testing to clandestinely slip into the deserted city, capturing whatever unfolded in its empty streets.  Yet, time in this repetitive daily routine took on an eerily surreal quality.  Each day I ventured out, yesterday and today appeared identical.  Eventually, I condensed the non-consecutive footage from those two months into a single day.  In this visual journey from dawn till dusk, time stealthily slipped away, transitioning from spring to summer.

2022年，在上海封锁的两个月里，我在例行的新冠病毒检测中抓住每一个机会，偷偷溜进这座荒凉的城市，捕捉空荡荡的街道上发生的一切。然而，在这种重复的日常生活中，时间呈现出一种怪异的超现实主义特质。我每天都冒险出门，昨天和今天似乎一模一样。最后，我把这两个月的非连续镜头浓缩成一天。在这场从黎明到黄昏的视觉旅程中，时间悄悄溜走，从春天过渡到夏天。
