Sandwiching is an accessible installation that reproduces the living space of art labourers on a 1:1 scale in a gallery. It was originally located in the mezzanine between art storage and the rooftop space. I deliberately created a disorienting experience of space and dimension while preserving the size of the space and objects. Household items were represented in the form of images placed in the flipped space. Much like the compacted living space, each item was flattened into an image and individually printed, existing in the space solely as images without volume.
